My Services
Therapy isn’t about pretending everything is okay or forcing positivity. It’s about learning how to live well, even when things are difficult — and finding ways to move forward that feel realistic, meaningful, and kind to yourself.
Sessions are offered online, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own home and at a pace that works for you.

When physical health problems arise, it’s completely natural to focus on treating the body. What often gets overlooked — yet quietly builds in the background — is the emotional toll these symptoms take.
You might notice:
Increased anxiety or low mood
Frustration or self-criticism
Grief for the life you used to have
Feeling stuck, hopeless, or constantly battling against your body
Wishing things were different, while feeling unable to move forward
Seeking psychological support during this time can make the difference between feeling trapped in a downward spiral and beginning to feel more steady, resilient, and able to move forward — even while physical challenges remain.

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you:
Understand the emotional impact of your physical condition
Develop skills to manage anxiety and low mood
Reduce self-criticism and unhelpful thought patterns
Work through grief and loss with compassion
Reconnect with what matters to you and build a meaningful life alongside ongoing health difficulties
I also use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help where trauma is impacting somebody’s physical experiences as well as their emotional wellbeing.
Everything you’re feeling makes sense — and together we can work towards easing emotional suffering and helping you feel more like yourself again.

I work with adults who are seeking support for their emotional wellbeing as a result of physical health challenges. Having worked in the NHS I have supported people from varying backgrounds with different stories to tell.
